NDA's Training Needs Analysis system is ideal for quickly identifying the skill requirements of large numbers of people - either in one location or spread across several locations. Clients have found that this innovative approach delivers:
- Measurable improvements in staff confidence
- Measurable improvements in staff performance
- Cost reductions in training management
- Cost reductions in training delivery
It has several features that help produce a comprehensive 'picture' of your staff training needs with minimum disruption to your workforce and at low cost. NDA conducts the TNA in four simple steps:
Step 1 - Survey the staff
The staff survey is an Internet-based questionnaire that can be completed by your staff in about five minutes. The data is captured on a database on our web server. We can survey any or all of your training needs - IT, general business skills or your own specialised procedures.
Step 2 - Produce a training matrix
We process the questionnaires through our custom TNA software and generate a training matrix. Our software generates summary information, including the number of people requiring training in different skills. It also highlights opportunities for payment discounts, based on the number of courses and various other options.
Step 3 - Management validation
Client management receives a copy of the training matrix to validate the needs identified by their staff.
Step 4 - Training delivery
We work with you to identify how best the training might be delivered and by whom. IT training needs map onto NDA's Just-in-Time training courses and/or our standard NDA courses. These short courses are only a half day in duration so staff time away from work is minimised. Each course teaches a single business skill so your staff receive exactly the training they need - no more and no less - minimising training costs.
