My monkeys and rabbits are miniature versions of soft toys produced
commercially from the 1930s.They are
hand-stitched in suede and leather to my own design but with the aim of
capturing the spirit of the originals as well as possible. These soft toys
are all filled with wool felt and are trimmed with silk ribbons.
Baby dollies have a hard painted head and bodies of leather. They are dressed in jumpsuits of knitted cotton and have tiny shoes of leather.
